Guido Kreiner, born is 1968 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, works in Key Account Management of an international brewery. He is married and has a daughter. Guido has been drawn to nature and photography since childhood, and over the past fifteen years, he has been taking an intense interest in the snakes of Eurpoe. Numerous travels to almost all parts of Europe afforded him opportunities to gain insights and impressions, and build a large archive of photographs, of which more than 300 color photos are shown in this volume. In line with his continued efforts it is his hope that this book will contribute to the conservation of the snakes of Europe and their natural habitats.
